This year the Devarenne Lab attended the joint American Society of Plant Biologists and Société Canadienne de Physiologie Végétale annual meeting which took place in the Palais des cogrès in Montréal, Canada.
This year we had the chance to share with the scientific community the exciting research we conduct at the Devarenne lab with two minisymposiums: Stress-induced localization of the cell supressor Adi3 in endosomes triggers plant cell death” presented by Dr. Tim Devarenne and Characterization of the interaction between the plant cell death regulator Adi3 and the SnRK complex” by Mr. Julian Avila-Pacheco. Also, three posters were presented: “Characterization of AGC1- 3 a homolog of the negative regulator of cell death in tomatoes, Adi3” by Joel Gray and two accompanying posters for the mynisimposiums by Dr. Devarenne (on behalf of Maria Ek-Ramos) and Mr. Avila.
The attendance to this conference was supported by the Office of Graduate Studies Research and Presentation Grant Program at Texas A&M University, the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics Travel grant and NSF.
