(2015-2017)
Victoria joined the lab in the Spring of 2015 as a lab support worker. In January 2016 Victoria began working on a research project to transform the B. braunii L race hydrocarbon biosynthesis genes into Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. Victoria moved to the lab of Paul Straight in the summer of 2017 to work on bacterial natural products. Victoria graduated in December 2017 and is currently (as of 08.29.2018) a gradate student in the Department of Plant and Microbial Biology at North Carolina State University working with Xu “Sirius” Li in the Plants for Human Health Institute.
