Today the Devarenne lab had a paper
published based on our collaborative studies with the lab of Dr. Edmundo Lozoya-Gloria at CINVESTAV in Irapuato, México. The study was published in PeerJ and details ROS production by Botryococcus braunii in response to stresses as well as the characterization of the Defender Against Death 1 (DAD1) gene from B. braunii, race B. These studies are the focus of Ivette Cornejo Corona’s thesis studies.
